I've seen a lot of the changes first hand and most recently have had the pleasure of contributing to the changes. I was there when we had the Lounge/Restaurant in the "grass hut" booths and the large fish tank built into the wall. It WAS neat but rather dusty and dreary after a while. The "floral print" wallpaper has been transformed into a solid color now, light and airy. We have moved forward from a "novelty" lounge to a crisp clean casual dining spot. We do have excellent food, (besides our grilled cheese) many of which is made from scratch. Including some of the best soups and pies in the Lancaster area. All at very reasonable prices. If You're in the area, stop and give us a try! Our web site is www.tikilanes.com.
I'm curious as to what year the menu pictured above is from as the tiki lounge was also gone before my time. I would have loved to see what it was like in the heyday. The lounge now is decked out in bad floral print wallpaper and there's some salty dogs working in the kitchen. If you go, stick to the grilled cheese.
