. This restaurant was more heavily tiki than the surrounding resort, with some large, modern carvings, and more traditional carved wall pieces. It closed in May 2014.
Visited Tahiti Joe's a couple times and enjoyed it. The original menu was more inspired than when they changed to standard american bar food but it was nice to have a tiki place to dine and drink if you stayed at Tahiti Village. Here's a link to one of Tahiti Joe's souvenir frosted tall glasses.
Went here in January. The food was typical american faire, and was decent. I really liked the modern tiki decor and vibe. Prices were fair. I bought a drink in a huge ceramic volcano mug (meant for 2 people) that tasted excellent yet I could not finish it. I would reccomend this place.
Good tiki place to go when in Las Vegas. Great drinks and decor - (Joe's Volcano Visit rules!) Happy Hour is from 3pm to 6pm and 10pm until 2am. Has gaming machines and cool souvenirs.
