Sadly, I have to report that Luau is not really tiki anymore. I visited the place for the first time this weekend. I guess the restaurant has been remodeled recently cause now it's basically an asiatic restaurant decorated with a lot of mesh and bamboo. There's a couple of tiki lamps and some pufferfish lamps, but apart from that the decor is oriental. They still serve exotic cocktails, though. I stayed away form their Mai Tai featuring peach juice and instead had an okay Scorpion. But this place is not cocktail hotspot.
The food is basically chinese with a few polynesian specialties like pineapple chicken and "tiki pork". And you can have a pupu platter too.
