Humuhumu’s description

Lost Isle Adventures gives tours of Morro Bay in their "tiki boat," which is clad in bamboo and thatch, adorned with tiki masks, and has a small tiki bar aboard where they serve drinks. They also have a store in their ticket office, where they sell tiki mugs and carved tikis. They also offer boats for rental.

This is a fun little tourist trap on water. I love it--and have been several times. As Humuhumu said in her description, the fun little boat, decked out in hip tiki drag, gives tourists and informative hour-long cruise around the bay, with visits to the colony of sea otters in residence as well as the sea lions who sun themselves where ever they can.

The best part, of course, is the cocktails available on board. May I suggest their signature drink, The Leaky Tiki? It is my fave. Mmm. Soooo delicious. And, during the voyage, you can place your cocktail in a cook coconut shell cup holder hanging down from the seat in front of you. Brilliant!

Before or after the voyage, you can visit the store their store that the cruise tickets are available for purchase. They have all sorts of cool tiki stuff--masks, carved tikis, even little tiki bars. They also have many tiki mugs available. Some are generic, but many are from other places as well. I've seen mugs from Frankie's Tiki Room in Las Vegas and Trader Sam's at Disneyland, among others.

You can read more about it in an old blog post of mine (that also includes other tiki sites in the same area) here: https://monsterago-go.blogspot.com/2017/11/im-freaky-for-tiki-8-tiki-on-central.html

Seriously though. if you are in Morro Bay, take the cruise. It is a great way to spend an hour and get an informative tour of Morro Bay's landmarks. (And don't forget the Leaky Tiki! )

Cheers!

I just loved this tour of Morro Bay in this funky tikified boat. Our skipper was super knowledgeable on everything about the bay, and we got to watch otters breaking oysters, all as we drank Mai Tais made there on board. Great fun, recommend highly -
