Our family went to this restaurant many times in the 60's. I took my dates there in the 70's. I have so many fond memories of this place. We almost always ate in the Tea House. They had a magnificent skewered beef & I would love to have the recipe.
My family used to go to this restaurant frequently for the Hawaiian shows during the 1960's. We did eat at the Teahouse once and I tried the Sukiyaki. The Japanese waitress talked me into putting raw egg on it and telling me the rubbery things I was eating was Octopus. I told her not to tell me any more! It was a great experience!
Another place my family would frequent mostly to see Hawaiian acts. I remember seeing Hawaii's answer to Kool and the Gang-THE KRUSH. I also saw glamrock band Jet Boy there in the late 80's or 90's?
