Burts is in a place that was a Tiki bar a very long time ago.. More than 25 years ago. It is a dive bar that happens to be in an old Tiki location. It really should be marked closed.
There is nothing tiki at all about this place, save for the name and the tropical-seeming sign outside the building. It seemed more like a grunge bar than anything, and when I asked about tiki drinks, I got a blank stare from the bartender who grumbled that they have beer and hard liquor. I did ask to see if there was a connection between this bar and the one in New Mexico, and it turns out that the same guy opened both, but I believe he no longer has a hand in this particular Burt's. Honestly, I'm not sure why the word "tiki" is in the name of this place - it's about as far from tiki as you can get.
