Brass Monkey Tiki Bar opened at the end of 2009. The bar has a rockabilly-tinged flavor to it, but is solidly tiki, too. Carefully-constructed cocktails are served in tiki mugs. The decor is relatively spare for a tiki bar, but there are a few pufferfish lamps, and a bamboo-covered ceiling. There's frequent live music.
I agree with you Tikikeith, in regards to the 80's music they tend to play there now with the new manager. But I have to correct you regarding Ixtahuele. I know and love those guys, they are truly amazing. But they have never played at Brassmonkey. Actually I tried to land the band a gig at Brassmonkey when they where doing a Scandinavian tiki bar tour in support of their album Call of The Islands. The new owner did not know the band, and even though I could offer them for very reasonable fee, he said he was not interested and that he rather wanted to focus on having dj's as musical entertainment.
The Brass Monkey is a bit out of the way of old Copenhagen. You need a taxi to get there, and it's next to a supermarket in the middle of a block. Kind of hard to find, as a tiki bar should be.
Drinks are pretty good - I've had better versions of the classics, but their original drinks are very good, and absolutely worth trying. Menu is a little small, but the bar staff is extremely accommodating. Service is amazing. Drinks are a little expensive, but so is everything else in Copenhagen.
Decor is as tiki as it gets. Seriously, the place looks fantastic. Cozy booths big enough to house a small party, and bowl drinks big enough to handle that party.
They have two custom mugs, made in London. The best is their Brass Monkey mug, with a little fez lid. There's also a zombie mug. Both are unique. They usually don't sell them, but if you're not a Copenhagen local, you can talk them into selling you one!
The only real problem is the music. They're in a college area and cater to a younger crowd. They play a mix of 80s funk and disco - but occasionally host bands like Ixtahuele, so they totally know the scene. Can't blame them for playing to the local crowd, but they really do love the tikiphiles who occasionally darken the door.

I wish they'd sell glassware.
