The potential of this place is off the charts - the bartender who I assume was also the owner was super nice, but the drinks were not good. TV's on showing some game show and bad music on - but man... this place could be so off the charts cool. Glad I checked it out - glad I then went to the Carribean Club for some most excellent rum coctails by JuanJo & Nuria.
We enjoyed it a lot like all the other Barcelona tiki bars except one. The Spanish bars have had friendlier staff and better service then many American tiki bars and the prices are better. Drinks were at the level of average American bars. It’s more about the atmosphere. They also speak English. Read the ultra critical reviews with a shovelful of salt.

While Aloha is not anywhere near difficult to find - as I previously read somewhere else - the question must be asked as to whether or not you really even want to find it. The interior is cool, but the bartenders actively squash whatever tiki environment the decor provides. On the occasion my friends & I visited, they were watching a Spanish variety TV show with the volume up pretty loud. No music. Most importantly, though, of the 3 different drinks we ordered, including a Mai Tai & a Suffering Bastard, all of them tasted like a melted bubble gum float.
It's probably worth noting that if you're in Barcelona & have time for only 1 tiki bar, you should just go ahead & do yourself a favor by making it Kahala on Avinguda Diagonal.
It has good tiki decor as all those similar places in Spain.
Drinks are not tiki, same liquid crap in same porcelan spanish mugs as other similar places in Spain. No nuts nor bisquits served with drinks.
Staff seems fairly friendly, little bit of English too.
Music is not tiki. At times I happened to visit the music was playing quietly well-known hits from disco era.
Aquarium without water.
Not much worth to visit, but if you do, order Coco Loco, coconut drink which is popular for locals.
