Humuhumu’s description:
The LuWow opened in 2011 in Fitzroy, a suburb of Melbourne. The LuWow is divided into two sections: the Island Village, which is a traditional Tiki bar (some Chinese food is available here), and the Forbidden Temple, a music hall. On weekends, the music hall portion hosts bands, '60s-era DJs, and the occasional Polynesian revue.

Just a slight correction, the Island Village is more a Tiki Bar where you can order food. They stopped doing food on the premises ages ago and now they get it from an Asian restaurant a few doors down. It's good food but a bit pricey.
Careless Navigator is a regular at The LuWow, and is usually there Two or three times a week..
