Humuhumu’s description:
The Hawaiian Village in Vancouver was also known as The Beachcomber, part of the Canadian chain of Beachcomber restaurants. It is currently unknown when and why the restaurant changed its name, but the style of the Hawaiian Village menu matches that of the Beachcomber chain.

Mugs for the Vancouver Hawaiian Village were created for them by Erneli Food Equipment.

It is such a shame this place isn't around anymore - it was a favorite with many people. It had private rooms like you find in japanese restaurants - where you sit on the floor (on cushions) with your feet below the table (the tables were dropped into the ground). The entry into the rooms was a sliding bamboo wall......ahhh, those were the days......

Why isn't there a menu for the Hawaiian Village, Vancouver and New Westminster, BC, Canada?

Darn what a shame they are no longer around, used to go to the one in New Westminster, BC., all the time. It's very sad. I have not been to the restaurant in 25 years.
