Have a photo or a collectible from Alphie's?
Add it to Critiki! Humuhumu’s description:
Alphie's is a greasy-spoon diner, serving breakfast and lunch. The space is light and airy, with white walls, but there are quite a few Polynesian touches throughout. There are some carved tikis on the wall, lauhala matting, tapa cloth, and an outrigger hanging overhead. It's a family-run joint, and if you are lucky, you may catch the owner and friends playing jazz.
Parking:
Alphie's has its own parking lot, in back.

If you just look at it for what it is, it's actually kind of cool: an island-themed breakfast joint with a lot of authentic oceanic decor. The food (with names like "Beachcomber Breakfast")really isn't all that special, but the place has a Hawaiian feel to it. It's a good place to go if you're visiting SB or passing through town, but doesn't justify a special trip.
