City BeverageBar & Restaurant
Have a photo or a collectible from City Beverage?
Add it to Critiki! Humuhumu’s description:
City Beverage is a kitsch fantasia of a bar & restaurant, with a smattering of retro & vintage decor, including a good dose of tiki. Silk flower garlands hang from the ceiling, and a few tikis can be found in corners. City Beverage opened in 2004, and later expanded to its current size; the original area of the restaurant is now called the Lava Lounge. A few tropical drinks are served, including a Volcano Bowl.
Parking:
City Beverage has its own parking lot.

City Market brings to NC a well-needed dose of Tiki/retro culture. I have visited multiple times and the food and drinks are very good. The tiki drinks are not Martin Cate quality BUT are genuine attempts and that alone is highly appreciated. With a City Market Mai Tai or Missionary’s Downfall in hand it almost feels like I am back in the Bay Area at one of my favorite tiki haunts ( FI, Smugglers, Conga Lounge, Trader Vic's, etc)!

I erroneously said "City Market" but meant "City Beverage" in my prior comment!
