Tangaroa Terrace is a new casual dining restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel, with a name inspired by the Tahitian Terrace and Enchanted Tiki Room in Disneyland. It opened in May 2011. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is near the more elaborately-themed Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. The offerings have island flavors, including a papaya slaw and a pineapple-teriyaki burger. Made-to-order meals are ordered via a video kiosk, and there are also some grab-and-go options. There are some tables indoors, but most of the seating is on an outdoor patio. Exotica and traditional Hawaiian tunes are played.
How to find it:
Tangaroa Terrace is located in the Disneyland Hotel, between the Monorail Slide and the D-ticket pools, near Trader Sam's.
Parking:
Parking is available in the Downtown Disney parking lot.

This is a small and very casual restaurant in the pool area of the Disneyland hotel. The menu is very small but it has a tropical slant and the food is good. Order at a video kiosk, pay the cashier, and then select an open table. Servers deliver your meal. There are a few inside tables but most of the seating is outdoors. There are nice views of the pool area which will be even more pleasant I’m sure once the hotel’s renovation has been finished. The restaurant shares it’s building with Trader Sam’s bar (a separate entry in critiki) which, if you don’t have kids with you, is an absolute must see. If you’re not a hotel guest, park in the Downtown Disney parking lot. The first three hours are free.
