South Pacific has been serving Chinese food in a Polynesian environment for many decades, and the decor is still intact. There are several tiki poles, and carved details in the trim. The walls have painted tropical scenes, and a back room is decorated like a tropical hut. Shell lamps and other tiki-style lighting are used throughout. Drinks are served in tiki mugs.

Sadly, this place is now closed as of 9/12. Had good memories there. As they say: 'nothing is more in danger that at the point of its rediscovery'.
