Add it to Critiki! Humuhumu’s description:
Solomons Island Tiki Bar opened in 1980, and is a more 80s-style tiki bar -- it's open-air, heavy on the party, and light on the tiki. There have been more additions of tikiness starting in early 2006, of particular note is the addition of many Bosko carvings and a couple large moai. It's open seasonally, from April through October, and opening day is a major event, drawing up to 10,000 people.
The bar started as an addition to the Island Manor Hotel, by original owners John and Kathy Taylor. New owners in 2005 have removed the hotel to expand the bar into a restaurant, and to accomodate the Tiki Bar's massive weekend crowds; these new owners are responsible for the stronger emphasis on tiki. A small store has been added that sells t-shirts, sweatshirts and mass-produced modern tiki items.

Built over an old motel, this place has been getting a make-over. There are now giant moais and sand "beaches" on the property, and they host BBQs and "luaus". The gift shop is pretty dang repleat for a bar, and the staff will bend over backward for you. Don't come too late, or the food and gift shop and cigar shop areas will be closed (~9pm). This place is a definitely a little more than the sum of its parts, but don't go for authentic tiki drinks, and they really don't exist.
