Tiki's Bar & Grill opened in summer 2006 in Rotterdam, in the South Holland province of the Netherlands. Tiki's is located just off of Witte de Withstraat, in the heart of Rotterdam. The space is lined with bamboo, tapa designs, rockwork, and tropical scenes, and thatch covers the bar area. There is a hula girl mosaic in the ladies' room. The music is an eclectic mix of oldies, Rockabilly, and '70s punk. The food is created by a cook from Malaysia, and tropical drinks are served.

This is a fun place to have a drink or two. The decor is tiki with a touch of grittiness. There’s a lot of things to look at and a couple of very nice murals featuring masks and various artifacts. We arrived early and had the place for ourselves. We had fun touring the bar to take a look at everything.

The cocktails menu is less impressive. There’s only one real tiki drink on the menu: a Mai Tai featuring pineapple juice and apricot brandy. Not classic, but still very drinkable. I also had a very good Caipirinha. The bar also serve mojitos, Whisky Sour, Margarita, Cosmopolitan and of course beer.

Overall, a great place to escape from the local cafés and their cheap (but good) beers.
