Tabou Tiki Room opened in July 2004, with carvings by California artist Danny "Tiki Diablo" Gallardo, and artwork by German artist Moritz R. There was a change in ownership in 2006, and the Tabou Tiki Room closed some time shortly after that.
Some of the decor from the Tabou Tiki Room wound up at Tiki Brett.
