Humuhumu’s description:
Leilani Village was also known as Giles' Leilani and as Harold's Leilani Motel; it had 60 rooms, a restaurant, called the Leilani Supper Club, and a bar, called the Malahini Lounge. When the Leilani was at its peak, it brought in performances by major singers of the day, including Vic Damone, Al Martino, Frankie Laine and Buddy Greco. It was demolished in 1996; a big-box computer store now stands on this site.

My parents had their wedding reception there in 1969. My sibling bought the home of the most recent owners of Leilani Village in the late 1990s. Brookfield (really, Wisconsin!) needs a Hawaiian themed place like this again...
