Ciral's House of Tiki

Ciral's House of Tiki served It's neighborhood and the students of The University of Chicago from 1962 until 2000. This address is aparently the second location for Ciral's the first location being a few blocks north on the same street. It was the neighborhoods only open until 4am bar and was filled with tiki decor from pufferfish to tikis. It served tasty polynesian dinners and bar food. Ciral's poured tropical cocktails with a six shot Zombie made with 5 different rums served in a naked lady glass to take home.
Ted and Bea Ciral wanted to retire and none of their four children wanted to run the bar so the Ciral's excepted an offer and sold the bar.
Today Ciral's is a parking lot to the Chicago skyline and the tikis inside long sold off. Ciral's is notable for being seen in the 1989 Gene Hackman movie The Package.

I read up on Ciral's because a friend of mine mentioned it was the first tiki bar she had ever visited, I never heard of it so I went in search of Ciral's.
