Modern, upscale and vague in its tropicality, Canoe Club lacks the dense, exotic feel most tikiphiles crave. What it lacks in throwback tiki spirit it makes up for with a few features: the central bar is wrapped around a large shark tank, and the dining room features large fake palm trees and a two-story waterfall. Canoe Club opened in early 2005.

This place closed a while back. I had a birthday dinner there that was quite good. Had some nice decor and the aquarium with the shark was pretty neat.
Tiare has visited Canoe Club.
